Guiding with Stories
through Nature & Old Towns
I am Florian Baier — biologist, certified nature guide, and passionate storyteller from Lüneburg. For over twelve years I have been guiding guests through the Hanseatic city, the Lüneburg Heath, and the UNESCO Elbe River Landscape Biosphere Reserve.
What drives me is the conviction that every landscape speaks its own language — you just have to learn to listen. Whether the call of the kingfisher on the Ilmenau, the glow of the heather in the evening sun, or the silence of a raised bog: I will show you what lies beneath the surface.
Every tour is individually crafted — tailored to your group, the season, and the moment. Small groups, authentic encounters, no mass tourism.

My Philosophy
Tours should not be mass-produced. I intentionally guide in small groups — ensuring everyone is truly engaged, able to ask questions, and fully immerse in nature and city heritage.
I adapt each experience to the season and weather. A rainy day in the heath tells different stories than a warm summer day on the Elbe — both are captivating when you know where to look.
